Data analysis and conversion
A Mental Health institution needed a solution for data analysis and conversion. This system stored survey results from all the Mental Health providers in central Nova Scotia.
Tracking and producing study reports
The Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre’s (QEII) Research Ethics Department required a database to track and produce reports for all of the studies conducted internally. This system was designed by Nicom, to not only track the file information, but also to produce the letters and reports required on an ongoing basis, to keep the system current and accurate, and to invite parties to review meetings as required.
Incident tracking and reporting
The QEII needed maintenance and ongoing modification of a system used for incident tracking and reporting.
Track and report on all information requests
A system used to track and report on all information requests made of the Pharmacy department needed maintenance and ongoing modification.
Scheduling and tracking
Nicom designed and developed a system to schedule and track all affiliate learners training at the QEII through the Nursing Education Department. This system was designed to track information on all of the learners as well as their sponsoring institutions.
Psychiatric outpatient information system
Nicom acted as advisor and developer on a project team that created the Psychiatric Outpatient Information System for the Nova Scotia Department of Health. The system allowed for the transfer of data between satellite and regional offices, and from regional to head offices.
